In 2018, while studying abroad in Bologna, Italy became the catalyst for my personal renaissance. Away from everything familiar, I found the freedom to explore, create, and discover the style and confidence that would become the foundation of RITMO BEAUTY.

I fell madly in love with styling headwraps, experimenting with different ways to tie them, and creating looks built around vintage-inspired accessories, oversized sunglasses, and my signature bold red lip. But my love affair with vintage glamour began long before that. It started as a child, watching I Love Lucy and falling in love with the charm, confidence, and unforgettable style of another era. The humor, the clichés, the style, the makeup & hair; it was Old Hollywood I dreamed to be apart of. After working for corporate for so long, I decided to make a major career pivot. I craved a life where I could create with my hands and bring my ideas to life. When the doors I was looking for didn’t open, I built my own. What began as a search for opportunity became a hands-on adventure through fabric, creativity, and the endless possibilities of building something from the ground up.

And every great creation has a beginning, mine begins with my dad.

At 83 years young, he's our Creative Director, my mentor, my right-hand man, and the creative visionary behind the brand. He taught me to sew, a skill he learned at just 14 years old. His dream was to become a Designer and here we are, sharing the dream, together.

This picture was taken in Mount Etna, Sicily. We have traveled the world together and found the greatest inspirations are a plane ticket away. From the streets of Italy to hidden corners around the globe, every trip had it's own soundtrack.

At the heart of it all, I am a proud Latina who sees herself as a Global Citizen. Born and raised in Los Angeles with Salvadoran roots, my journey has been shaped by a deep appreciation for culture, creativity, and the beauty found around the world.

RITMO BEAUTY is an extension of who I am and what I love, inspired by music; the soul of this brand is rhythm. Music has always shaped the way I see the world. It sets the mood, sparks creativity, and fuels you with energy. To me, style carries that same effect. The right look can change the way you feel, tell a story without saying a word, and become a reflection of the spark within you.
